Loss of Order(cat. 01 – 36) Gathered up and brushed to one side, the object’s identity still half-clings to them as the unwanted bits of whatever/wherever it was they came from. There is a stubborness to all these objects, a resistance to our need to classify and order them (*each basket contains similarly priced objects). The uniqueness of each object stresses its isolation to those around it, and emphasizes the loss of the context within which it is normally placed. These baskets highlight a sensational world of ordinary deficient objects, each trapped in its’ own dimension, communicating imperfectly with us and the world.
